As head of the mechanical engineering department for Formica & Associates, Mike leads the mechanical team with modern practice and design. Since entering the field in 2015, he has lead design development for various projects located throughout the United States including California, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, South Carolina, and Florida. Mike has design experience pertaining to multiple HVAC system types such as but not limited to DOAS, UFAD, Chilled Water, Condenser Water, VAV, VRF, High Temperature Hot Water, and Hot & Cold Aisle Systems. He has gained experience in designing systems for applications involving projects in the Government, Medical, Educational, Commercial, Industrial, and Residential sectors. Mike’s duties at Formica & Associates involve preparing design and construction documents, defining engineering standards, provide oversight to design, and provide mentorship to fellow mechanical team members. Mike’s goal is to provide the client with excellent and efficient services relating to HVAC design.
