Project Description:
Formica and Associates is excited to be part of design team for the new Tequesta Community Center. This project consists of various activity rooms for adults and children, admin areas, a unique lobby, and a large gymnasium. To serve the various spaces a variable air volume rooftop unit was chosen to provide multiple points of thermal control in the main building. The gymnasium is served by two constant volume rooftop units which utilize duct sox to supply air to the space.

The Activity Rooms, Kids Zone, Gymnasium and Office Spaces incorporate audio visual technology systems for various applications including entertainment, meetings, and the display of information. These systems utilize centralized control with intuitive user interface touch panels throughout the facility and feature a distributed networked based AV system permitting signals to be routed to various destinations in the building for maximum flexibility. Construction is currently under way and we are excited to see the completed building. which will feature outside activity spaces for adults and youth.
Formica & Associates provided Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing, Fire Protection and Technology design engineering services.
